My first memories as a child were of going to my father's law office and the courthouse. There was never any question in my mind but that I was going to be a lawyer, too.
My father has always preached to me that the
practice of law is a
profession, and not a business. To me, that means, among other things,
that the zealous, ethical representation of my client is the first
priority of my job. Everyday that I come to work, I try my best to live
up to that creed.
